Set of two handmade sisal placemats of the finest weave. Made by hand by rural artisans in south-eastern Kenya from sisal material, following traditional Taita weaving techniques.
This natural collection consists of a set of two identical placemats, woven by the hands of one artisan, so they are matching perfectly.
The shades of white, browns beige and black colours, are obtained using ONLY natural dyes. These dyeing techniques are traditional skills passed on from generation to generation.
