Available in a variety of colours and sizes, our baskets effortlessly complement any room in your home. From rolling their own sisal twine to weaving every intricate detail, each basket is a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication of the artisans head and heart.
To add a personal touch, the weaver sews a cardboard piece with her name, ensuring a connection between you and the artisan behind your basket. Additionally, our Hadithi team prints and includes a photo of the weaver, allowing you to appreciate the person behind the art.
The shades of beige, grey and brown colours in the are obtained with natural dye, using soil or the bark of a tree called the Mshiga tree. The red and other bright colours, are obtained with commercial dyes.
